Marlen Nunez-Tamayo

Hello! I am a Biology Physiology major undergraduate student in my second year. I am a Genentech Scholar recipient who is currently researching under Carol Umanzor. ​I am excited to be part of this project to allow students like me to report their experience being a women in biology. I hope this creates a greater outcome for future students to feel more confident and supported in biology. I am here because I also have big goals! I wish to become a public health researcher and a physician. I care about the well-being of my community and individuals. ​
