Hello! I’m a graduate student, an Agents of Change fellow, and a research technician at SF BUILD. Currently in my fellowship, I'm working on the ALMA project that study underrepresented students’ retention in STEM through natural language processing (NLP) techniques. At work, I am assisting Carol Umanzor on a study about women in biology though MA2, an app that helps student track their experiences with microaggression and microaffirmations on campus. I support the data collection, data analysis, and development of data models or computational programs informed by the study. In 2021, I earned a B.S. in Computer Science and a Minor in Asian American Studies at SF State. During slow weeks, I like going to the gym or eating out with friends; I also try to travel and learn different languages. This fall, my goal is to immerse myself with proper tools and techniques in data science and machine learning. As a researcher, I am continuously learning how data science and AI intersect with the humanities.Hello! I’m a graduate student, an Agents of Change fellow, and a research technician at SF BUILD.
